ë´‰ì²œë™ ê·€ì‹ (Pongch’Ån-dong Ghost, or Bong Chong Dong Ghost) is a popular Korean horror comic. The comic is claimed to be based on eyewitness accounts.
The story follows a young Korean schoolgirl coming home from school late in the night (11:20 p.m. to be specific) when she comes across Mrs. Cho.
At first she is frightened by her unusual walk. As she comes closer, Mrs. Cho’s head spins 180 degrees and asks “Where is my Baby?â€
The schoolgirl points in a random direction, and turns around in hopes that Mrs. Cho won’t follow.
“She’s not here!!!†Mrs. Cho screams, and flies through the air at the schoolgirl. After that, she remembers nothing until one of the neighbors finds her passed out on the ground.
There are ways to cheat it. For instance, if one starts from the bottom and scrolls up, there is a bug that will delay the jump scare. Another is if one quickly scrolls up and down, the jump scares will activate, but they will function in a quirky manner. There are still no real ways to completely avoid it; the comic cannot be read without activating the jump scares.
There is also a glitch that does not allow the person to use the right mouse button.
Ever since PewDiePie made a video of him reading the story, the comic gained extra popularity. On YouTube, users started posting their reaction videos:
